Contact Information The Rideau Project, which is dedicated to obtaining freedom for Wilbert Rideau, was established in 1988 by the Institute of Human Relations (now renamed The Twomey Center for Peace Through Justice) at Loyola University in New Orleans. The Rideau Project does not pay legal expenses, which are donated by Mr. Rideau's lawyers. It does engage in researching and providing to the public and the media accurate information about the Calcasieu Parish and Louisiana justice systems, as well as organizing other grassroots efforts to free Wilbert Rideau. Your donation will be used for telephone, photocopying, tape duplicating, and printing charges, website expenses, lapel buttons, banners, posters, travel expenses to and from Lake Charles and the sponsorship of public events. Media interested in interviewing Wilbert Rideau should contact Mr. Kendall or Mr. Murray Individuals wishing to contact Mr. Rideau should send correspondence to him at his personal address - exactly as shown, since the prison mail room may refuse to deliver mail with an incorrect address. Also, please do not include stamps, money, or anything else that would be considered "contraband" with your correspondence.
